Composites

I am not sure what you mean, but you can change pen colours for each individual composite object.

Composites, however, are created for global use throughout the model., and are not layer-sensitive.

but you can use display option combinations which, when saved with your view, will do what you want . . .

why not? it's done with framing plans. same thing, no? if you bring the bracing to the front of the composite and change the 'cut fills' display option to 'separator lines only' . . . ? will that work?

if not, maybe i haven't fully understood you . . .
