Hi all,
I am modelling an existing ribbed slab and was wondering what is the best way to connect the complex beam profiles of the T's to the slab, as they intersect at an angle.
Thanks!

yes , it must connect, create a thin beam, just to force your beams to connect

Add a beam on the slab egde, beams connect only to beam

Thank you for your reply. Does the beam have to connect to the same complex profile beam?

Which Archicad version are you using? Archicad 23 introduced multi-segment Columns and Beam using which you should be able to model those Beam ends.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Sadly we are using Archicad 22.

Maybe, it would help, if You send us a handrawn Picture of Your wish here..

Hi Hmooslechner,
I have attached a screenshot from the model.

I see - sorry!
correct me, but the beams in the slab "in real live" should carry the slab - and should reach ( lay on ) the surrounding wall-forms, so they shouldnt connect to the slab but "lay on the wall" instead?
What you could do in every such situation - not using beams but unsing morphs, which you could easily cut off at any angle

Hi again,
I have modelled them as 'beams' however they are the ribbed parts of the slab, and therefore need to be connected to the slab. Please see attached.
