Control, Alt, and Shift Chart

I swear I once had a chart that showed all of the effects of Ctrl, Alt, and Shift when you are in different modes, such as Arrow tool or with elements selected. If you have this chart, please post it here.

Thanks.

I don't remember ever seeing one, but I'd love to have it!

We had one that was included in some of the older (read very old) training materials.

I will see if I can find it, I doubt it has been updated though.

Found it! I created this based on one I saw from GS many years ago.

Interesting chart, but not as thorough as I had hoped!

What is it missing? I'll add it on.

I guess "thorough" was the wrong word. I was thinking that it's not terribly clear.

It would be good to include some of the features of your mouse wheel button as well (button three). For me the biggy is 3d navigation (orbit mode) toggle with the shift-mouse wheel button combination and of course the pan mode. The other thing is the shift-space combination while in any other tool to toggle the magnet. In addition, while in the wall or line tool with items selected the cntrl-click performs a stretch or split command depending on what you click on. I am sure there are others since these keys and combinations are so powerful. It would be great to have a easy to use and very complete chart in this manner for new users.

It took a bit longer that first thought but I finally found one of our charts. It is made for version 7 so a few changes have naturally occured sine it was assembled.
