Controlling Wall Clipping

How can I control how the scissors clip two intersecting walls? For example, and when you clip a straight wall which intersects with a curved wall you get rounded edges instead of straight edges. How can you control this?

It depends on where your reference lines are.

This is an exterior wall and both segments have been drawn with the reference line facing out (down).

Change the curved wall's ref line to inside.
