Copy to special snap points.

Am trying to multiple copy to a line with 5 divisions (snap points). When I select the line itself, snap points show up. Work environment, on screen options for "hide special snap points" is disabled. I select the object, attempt to copy to the special snap points but they disappear. Have tried different way to have the points stay displayed on the line when copying, but they seem to always disappear.

Any help?

I think this is how the program was designed to work.
If you keep your cursor over the line and move it a little bit the Special Snap Points reappear.
Just keep the cursor above the line during the whole operation.

Also, you don't have to select the line for the Snap Points to show up.
Just hover your cursor over it and they appear.

It seems to work fine for a drag copy, but no snap points appear when I do a drag multiple copy command.

Strange, it works for me.
After you place a copy, the Special Snap Points disappear. But if you move your cursor over the line, they should reappear. Sometime you have to move them a bit more so enough distance is covered for AC to respond.
Or, you can move away your mouse from the line then hover it over the line again for them to reappear.

ok, you're right. Don't know why I have been having such a hard time with it. Is that a toggle on or off for snap points on the control box? I have assumed they were always on.

They can be turned ON and OFF by clicking their button on the Standard Toolbar.

I also find the snap-points don't like to appear when you're hovering over hot-spots, or the ends or the center of the edge you're working on. You have to hover else where to get the snap-points to appear.

Yes, that is true.
You have to find a general part of an element for them to appear.

Generally speaking, the cursor needs to be mercedes shape (locate edge) on an element for the Special Snap Points to appear.
