Create independent details

In an ongoing project, I have created 10 Independent Details. When I start creating the 11th detail, the program refuses to SAVE the contents of this particular Detail.(Everything I did in lines disappeared after I shut down and open the main file) Only the dimension info would show. I checked all layers are on.

I tried making changes to all files previous to the new 11th file, it would
save normally.
I also tried creating the 12th detail with lines, circles, fills etc. After SAVE, shutdown and reopen, only the circles are saved.

I tried opening another project file, and it works normally.

Has anybody experience this glitch?

other than updating your version of AC...what is the fix...if any....

Why not update? Is your copy pirated?

I have updated to 2172 already. No, mine's not a pirated copy, I have been on AC for 12 years. I don't think we have pirated copies for Mac circulating in Canada anyway.

The fix was given: make sure that when drawing an independent detail, that you are close to the 'real' origin. Double click the origin icon in the coordinates palette to reset the user origin to true origin and be sure to draw from there (or thereabouts).
