Creating centerline plan on exactly at Project origin

Hello,

With the help of Worksheet tool and object tool, we can easily create Center line plan for columns or foundation walls.

Now , every time after creating center line plan, we have to shift whole plan to project origin so that we can use Archicad .dll file located in Archicad library.

If there is some change in position of wall or column, we can use ' Rebuild from source view' command in worksheet to accept changes automatically because there is link between actual model and center line worksheet.

But after giving command 'rebuild' , centerline plan again goes to it's original position and then again we have to drag the whole drawing to project origin.

Is there any way to select specific point on floor plan with worksheet tool so that it automatically creates centerline plan at it's project origin or where we want?

I'm not sure what you mean by "centerline plan". If the floor plan and worksheet alignments to their origins match then they will align with each other by default. My guess is that your method is not aligning the drawings to their respective origins and they are reverting to their dissimilar offsets on rebuild.

Hello Mathew,

For starting of excavation for foundation , I need center line Plan for Columns and Foundation wall. For this I am creating one rectangle 5' apart from external columns and then locating all column with respect to this external boundary considering it as Zero. and then using Ordinate dimension tool creating Center line dimensions.

Actually I want to know, whether Floor plan origin and Woksheet origin can be matched (which is automatically generated for Center line Plan.)

From your reply I found my problem.
Actually I have to adjust the whole plan after completion with respect to project origin, where I have to pick my worksheet anchor point.
It creates worksheet exactly where i want.
