Curved Text

Does anyone remember that add-on or whatever it was that we could use to make curved text. As in text that would read about a circle or arc ? https://thesourcecad.com/how-to-curve-text-in-autocad/

Archi Guru was it? Something like that. Is that still around, any one know were to get it ?

Not this -- https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/25566/

Just use the normal 3D text tool. When placed use - Reshape - Explode into view. This will give you a fill around your letters. Now copy and paste the fill into the Profiler - save to be used as wall or beam = curve

That is one of many work-a-rounds for that, but somewhere out there, is an add-on for ArchiCAD that does this really easy. I may have to go back 10 or 15 years into my old hard drives to find it. ?

No one rembers this add-on?

I don't think this is it... It's much better! Thanks

The download link to the curved text tool is no longer working.

It seems there was a tool available before that was simply called "Curved Text Object" by Applecore Designs. The GSM text object seems to have been commercialised for a while, but now Applecore Designs has ceased to exist. Maybe the text tool is lost on us, except if past users are willing to share.

Pretty frustrating Graphisoft does not provide a native tool for basic 2D curved text. Or keep their links valid.
