Curved wall

For a project on school I'm trying to make a builiding with archicad
It's almost ending now but I've got one problem.

How can I make a curved wall on the first floor (see imagine)

The point is, that the roof is not defined as roof. It's designd with
design -> Trussmaker. The wide of the truss is then the wide of the building.
That makes it, that I cannot use the option trim to roof

It there any possibility to covert my truss(roof) to a roof or to make with an other option those curved walls?

Thanks so far...

You should be able to use SEO (Design> Solid Element Operation if AC10). Select your wall as the target, then deselect it, Select your roof (trussmaker object) as operator, then with "subtraction with upwards extrusion" as the operation, hit Execute.

The only problem would be if trussmaker objects don't work as operators, but give it a go.

You want to fill the gap between the second floor and the extruded roof. Normally you'd place a wall element and use the "Trim to roof" command.

Since you have made the roof with another tool, that command won't trim the wall.

In this case, you will investigate the Solid Element Operation, using the roof to trim a wall placed there using the function "Subtraction with Upward Extrusion." This will cut the wall away.

It is definitely wrong to make roof with trussmaker.
It makes just troubles also in late phase.
You can make your roof and your facade together with profile-manager.

Your going to have a problem using SEO with upward extrusion
because your roof hooks around and goes underneath the wall.
You will have to remake the roof so that it has two parts.
One is the main roof and the other is the hooked part.
You SEO the main roof with upward extrusion and the hooked
part with downward extrusion.

I ran into a similar problem with some walls I had in a project. What I did was this...

I used an elevation of the space/shape needed for my wall. Traced the outline of the shape I would need the wall to be with the fill tool (could also used line or polylines). Copied it....

Open Complex Profile and create a NEW Profile. Paste the fill you created from the elevation view and edit it if need be (materials, lines, etc.).

Save the profile, and return to the plan view.

Using the wall tool, select profile wall, and choose the wall you just created in the complex profile tool.

Place the wall where you need it to be and use the "length" of the wall as its "thickness", say 8" or whatever it may be.

I found it easier to place the wall outside of my drawing area, type in the "length (really thickness), and then drag the wall into place.

Then, open the elevation back up to make sure all edges are touching correctly, if not, edit the profile accordingly.
