Custom Curtain Wall Frame

Hi,

I have been able to successfully save and load custom frame types in conjunction with custom wall cap types. However, I have not been able to successfully "load other curtain wall frame..." Ideally I would like to be able to model a mullion/transoms without a cap. Every time I save my custom slab as a curtain wall frame (Libraries-and-Objects>Save-Selection-As>Curtain-Wall-Frame) and load it into my curtain wall.... no mullion/transom appears. What am I doing wrong? Also is there a work around for mullion/transoms with no wall caps?

Thanks for the advice,
Elyssa

Curious, I can't get a saved frame to appear either, when i use the library manager
to save my custom Curtain Wall Frame.gsm from the embedded library to an external folder,
AC curtain wall tool could not find it, giving a report that said,
"The selected file is not a Curtain Wall Frame file. Please select a valid Curtain Wall Frame file".
The library manager tool made the file, AC doesn't recognize it. Very odd.

You ask about "no caps" do you mean butt-glazed? ...

hi there,

i´m having the same problem. I'd like a Modular Frame without a Cap or to be able to load an other Custom Curtain Wall Frame, but I don´t know how to save it, as I tried to save as a Custom Component and it only work with the Modular Frame..

will be waiting for some news on this matter!!

thanks
