Custom edge settings

Not applicable
Hello,

I have problems with options offered in settings after clicking on the edge.
For example, when I click to blue or green spots on the roof, I can access these options: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b2jee36sz0qiusb/archiacd%20edit%20options.JPG?dl=0,

but I saw, I could get some more of them, for example:https://www.dropbox.com/s/gq2j7ram8shbgn2/ARCHICAD_2017-04-04_09-40-02.png?dl=0

I don't know where to click, I can't find it.

Thank you!

Your second screen shot shows options that are available when editing the ridge of a Multi-Plane Roof. Your first screen shot is of the options for editing the perimeter or pivot lines.

Hello,

no, the second screenshot is not mine (https://www.dropbox.com/s/gq2j7ram8shbgn2/ARCHICAD_2017-04-04_09-40-02.png?dl=0)
that's what I want to achieve, but don't know how.

Maybe there's a difference between complex roofs ...

I now noticed that the left one is editable, but the right one not:https://www.dropbox.com/s/vm9b1ufhs0...rimer.JPG?dl=0

I made all the roofs with the magic tool and now I want to edit them, why do I have that option just with a few?
The ridge editing palette appears for ridges only where the opposing pivot lines are parallel to each other. (i.e. the ridge is horizontal) Is it possible that you have a non-horizontal ridge?

Hello,

oh yes, almost all roofs have non-horizontale ridges. I made all of them with magic wand roof tool, cuz all existing surrounding buildings doesn't have to be exact, also the dwg file I got wasn't.
Thank you, now I know what's the problem, will change all to morf and work on.

Or, you could just change them to single plane roofs (right-click on the multi-plane roofs) and edit them manually.

Hi,

sorry, am not sure how exactly can I change them to single plan roof ...
Select the multi-plane roof, right-click, and from the context menu that appears, choose "Split into Single Plane Roofs"
