Custom opening in a Curtain Wall

Hello,

How to create custom openings in the Curtain Wall for doors and windows?

In a model provided in one of the Graphisoft's learning lessons, I noticed this Curtain Wall object that has holes carved into it for the doors and windows and I can't figure out how they made it. 

 

I know how to make a hole in the curtain wall by using morphs, but when analysing this model, this doesn't seem to be the method they used. 

Also, removing panels in Edit mode doesn't lead to the desired result...

 

If someone could reveal this magic to me, I would be really grateful

Hi @Arabrab 

The outline boundary of the Scheme Grid did the trick.

You can get it by editing the curtain wall and turning off everything but that. Then select that thicker line, it will turn in blue to edit.

One condition: it has to be a continuous polyline.

Can't you just place extra frames around your openings and then delete what is inside (the frames can be invisible).

In Graphisoft's exercise file where I discovered this particular Curtain Wall object with the window holes, they used the method that @Ricardo Lopez explained.
