Hello chris zang,
Your printscreen is a great idea. Thanks about it !
I see grey points around your selection, that means your elements are locked.
1° - Check if layers are unlock
2° - Check if these elements are not locked - Clic on : Edition/Lock/Unlock
3° - If you are working on a teamworks project, you have to reserve elements before editing them

Hello Christophe,
Thank you for your feedback, it was indeed locked i managed to unlock the layer and was able to delete the parts selected. Now trying to export the updated file as ifc format. I had bad success with Revit when trying to export the file the app was not responding during the export i contacted the support they said the file is too big but archicad just managed to export it
Thank you again.

Chris zang,
If you see dots instead of element into you model, check your library links.
Archicad is the easiest way to export a good ifc file😉 but before doing it you have to check your classification and IFC translator.
