SOLVED!

Demolished windows and new walls showing up with a dark background - not sure how to change.

Hi all,

I have been going round in circles trying to figure this one out.

As it stands there is a former garage that's blocked in (under WG01) and new walls to a porch that are showing up with a grey background brick texture (i.e. its not matching with the main wall texture). I'm not sure what's doing this and haven't had this problem before.

It's definitely not a shadow and there are no graphic overrides or renovation filters. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like and the section/elevation settings.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks,

Steve

I think you might find it is a renovation filter.

If the new elements are set to 'override', they will appear different.

If it is not that, do the properties of the new wall match exactly with those of the existing wall?

I checked and its the renovation filter for the 'existing' was actually set to override (namely for the plans), so I just made a new renovation filter combination for the elevations. Now everything is the darker tone, so seems to have worked out!

Thanks for your help, Barry!
