Detail Boundary

Chadwick
Newcomer
I've placed several details and afterwards I've decided that for some of them the detail needs to capture more information. So I stretch the boundary box in the source view, but when I go to the detail and rebuild from source view it reverts back to the detail information before I stretched the boundary. The boundary for the detail in the source view doesnt revert but the actual detail does. Has anyone else already fought with this problem? Solutions? I suppose I could just make a new detail and copy the linework I had in the old one, but that would then mean relinking in PM, etc.

Thanks for any help.

Under ' detail tool settings / general settings / working mode ' i've discovered that it has to be set to 'editable polygon.'
If it's any consolation, you don't need to select this in AC9 & 10!

Cheers,

oh good. We're probably going to upgrade to 10 in the early winter time. November or so.
