If my assumption is true, or are there resetting tools so that I can start all over, or are there other recommendations?
Thanks, Paul

Are you using Archicad 9? If so, are you saving changes to your Work Environment?
The Archicad Work Environment allows you to save all your dialog box settings so you do not lose them.

Could give us an example of what you are trying to do?

I am not trying to do any one operation in AC. It is the system! How and why.... to use it. If I find the answer for one issue and do not know why...like settings must be set in a certain order or settings are never released or...?... I am still lost because tomorrow I know not much more than I do today. Sorry to be so indirect but AC's intructions seldom show the extent of this. ie. a sun setting can be 400 ? when listed with 4 other settings that can be...?..and why - 100% is not an answer for the total or the individual setting. Does this have a logic ?
Thanks, Paul
