Its been some weeks now Im using AC 12 and Im experiencing the following problem: I must do sth wrong Im sure but I cannot find what:
when I have an edge (line, wall, slab etc) and I want to have another one parallel to that I cannot set the R distance. I hope its understandable, I mean that when I select the parallel construction method it doesn't let me set the distance from the point my line begins and it goes to the beginning 0.0 of the axes. why is that?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but does using the offset method work better for you instead? I don't think the parallel method lets you specify a distance off the edge specified.

Maybe you switched the mode of the coordinates from relative to absolute.
Check the settings of the Inspector.

I'm still none-the-wiser as to exactly what we are talking about!
I'm talking about the constraints in the control box (see attached).
And I think by 'inspector' rocorona means the 'tracker'?

I'm sure no good at other languages, still learning "English", so please excuse my ignorance.
Would that be:
Inspector Clouseau?

And I think by 'inspector' rocorona means the 'tracker'?Yes, your investigation is correct. In ITA-ArchiCAD the Tracker has got that funny translation.
