Doors at high levels

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping you can help me. Is it possible to insert a door into a wall at a higher level than that of the wall base or layer level plane.

Using SEO I have created quite a complex building with floors merging into walls etc, and now wish to use the more conventional tools to show architectural details. The door needs to be around 15 meters from where the wall originates at ground level. I am hoping its a case of typing in a height coordinate but at present it eludes me.

Thanks

Yes, you can adjust the "threshold/sill" for the door to raise it in the wall.

When looking at the "parameters" section of the door settings you see:

  Width of opening
  Height of opening
  Header height
  Threshold/Sill height
One thing to note is that you can't set the Threshold/Sill higher than the Header, so you might have to change it is steps.
