Drawing balls or round objects in 3d

I would like to draw round stones in a landscape and show them as round objects in 3d. How do I do this?

There is a sphere and ellipsoid object in the basic shapes folder of the default library. Maybe they are good enough?

Thanks sometimes the solution is so obvious it is staring me in the face. This will do nicely.
