Error Message: Cannot Find Library Parts or Internal Macros

Anonymous
Not applicable
ArchiCAD is generating an Error Message when I try to save an Archive. The Error Message reads:

Error Message: Cannot Find Library Parts or Internal Macros
These will not be included in the Archive.

Why is this message being generated? Do I need to worry about it or do something differently?

Under Options for the Archive I've selected all four checkboxes.

Thank you,
John

After I select Save Anyway a report is generated. I've attached an image of the report. What does this mean? Where would I find the parts and images that the report is refering to?

Thank you,
John

AC archive have problems with macros from some previous versions. In my practice I resolve this problem with saving options - add all loaded library. This option add all macros, but problem is capacity of flies.

An object in your library has a referred macro part but your parameter setting may not actually be refering to it. i am guessing you have called up a standard object. The trouble is the macros are usually stored in a different folder called something like Macros (or DW macros if the object is a door or window.)

Easiest solution is to include the whole macro folder in your library. It is usually fairly small.

John,
This time it doesn't look like a missing macro, but a missing library part.

It looks like some one has created a library part called "Test.gsm". The library part is missing or residing some where that you do not have access to. ArchiCAD was also unable to find the two bitmap images included in the "Test.gsm"

HTH.
Cheers.
