My basement and foundation are both visible in 2d but nothing is visible in 3d below the bottom of my first floor walls. Any suggestions on how to make them visible?

How did you know the title of Jonathan Safran Foer's next book?

3D visibility is controlled in the attached dialog under "Elements in 3D"

If it's not your Filter Elements in 3D settings, make sure you don't have 3D Cutaway checked in the View> Elements in 3D View submenu.

Also make sure that you hit Show All in 3D, not Show Selection/Marquee in 3D.

Cheers,
