Eye dropper behaving badly after cmd + F (Find and Select)

Hello everyone!

I've noticed that when i click cmd+F, the eye dropper won't work until i click somewhere or do any action except eye dropper.

Don't know when this started the first time. Might have been with AC 26. But can't be sure. this problem is quite new for me, so can't be long ago.

Anyhow, to recreate this all i have to do, on any AC 26 file, is to click cmd+F.

After opening the find & select, the eye dropper can't be accessed by using the shortcut (option button).

Thanks for any advice!

Felix

Graphisoft confirm that this isn't working as it should.

They suggested a workaround using opt+C instead of cmd when using the eye-dropper after clicking cmd+F.

It worked fine for me.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue. It’s only started to happen recently. There have been no updates carried out before it started to occur.

I think that you are right. I don't think that this was a problem when we installed AC 26.

In that case I would have posted about it earlier.

It's annoying if you have things selected and need to add more by find & select. Because you have to deselect to access the eye dropper.

I am not noticing this, but you are all Mac and I am Windows.

Now I know that's its prob. the same for everyone. I will talk to our reseller and get back here with what they say when they've talked to GS.

This seems to be fixed now in Update 3.
