Eyedropper & Syringe not working in 3D window

Hi,

I am fairly new to ArchiCAD (I have done the Essentials training and several days trying to work on projects on my own).

For some reason I now can't seem to use the eyedropper and syringe in the 3D window (generic perspective of Project map, or the Axonometric of project map) on my current project. I just get the error sound. The commands still work in the 2D window.

Does anyone know why it is excluding these commands in 3D?

I am using version 13 - 64 bit on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

Could be a graphics card driver problem perhaps.
Try updating to the latest drivers as a first step.

Hi,

thanks for your suggestion. I checked that I had the latest drivers, and tried different computers but still had the same problem.

I think it turns out that I was taking my project from my computer at home to one at work, and wasn't loading different library folders the right way and had elements which Archicad was having trouble finding (though they looked OK on the drawings). Since I have got the hang of the library a little more things seem to be quite a lot better in regard to the eyedropper and syringe.
