Fills and a paintbucket

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me where the paint bucket is to fill oddly shaped line work with a hatch.

Chris, did you see the cursor change when you pressed the space-bar? That's your magic wand. If you make friends with it, it'll save you lots of time.
