Find auto-saved verisons

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

I fell asleep while still working on my archicad file. I woke up with the program running, saved the file and went back to bed.

Opening the file the following day, I found that most of my walls were moved and twisted, as I probably accidently touched the mouse during my sleeping session.

I need to know how to find previous versions of my file, or if they exist in an backup folder somehow? I would assume that there might be backups for every half an hour, so that I could go back and continue working from the stage before moving the walls around in my sleep.

Or is there really just one backup version available? That is in case a major weakness of archicad -> which means that one need to create new "save as"-files repeatedly?

Do some know any solutions that could help me?

Best regards,
BS

There is only one backup, it is the BPN file located next to the PLN file with the same name.

One possible solution:
Scheduled Backups are available with the BIM Server. You can install and run the BIM Server on your local machine. You can share the project on the BIM Server, reserve everything so you can have access to the whole Project.
Then in the BIM Server Manager Dialog you can set a schedule to save as many backups as you need.
