Finish Schedule

Is there a way to automatically generate a finish schedule. I'd like to have the ability to insert information somehow on the plan and in the actual schedule itself.

Would a zone schedule be the way to do it? But will it pick up floor material without having to put in fill on the floor?

Thanks.

Same here. A finish schedule element based on zones would be great.

Figure out a way to do it. Use the zone identifier stamp, see additional parameters at the bottom of the dialogue box when inserting. Fill in wall materials @ n/s/e/w. I use user 1, 2 and 3 for trim information, and remarks. Place on the drawing.

Go to the schedule. Set the criterion equal to zones.
Go to fields, select additional parameters.
At Library parts types, select all types by subsets.
Go to drawing symbols, then zone stamp, then the zone stamp used (should be zone identifier)
You'll get a list of parameters that can be used. At the right side, turn off all the selections except "abc" which is text.
You'll get the available parameters, which should include the ones you gave data to before you placed on the drawing.
Make sure those are selected, all other turned off.

Go to Format and set up the schedule look and headings as you typically would. Place on the drawing, you should have it there.

Hope that will get you started.
