Graphisoft Gallery

Does Graphisoft update their gallery any more? The last update appears to be from 2004.

Right now our firm is considering switching away from AutoCad to AC and as the one pushing for this change it is nice to be able to point to a current gallery to show what is being done with the program.

If you goto any of the dealer websites, they usually have a gallery page that's more recent. They even have good examples of working drawings.

I have started to collect some of the ArchiCAd resellers' own galleries:
http://archicadwiki.com/User_Galleries

The list is BY FAR not full, but there are some good examples. Some also have working drawings in PDF format, not just renderings. E.g.:

Thanks for posting the great collection of sites. Some I have come across in my own searches but it is nice to have them corralled in one place. As an architect, the drawing sets are especially nice to see since this is what we are using any software to ultimately produce. Hopefully this will help our office, as well as others, make a decision in our move towards a new software platform.

Erich,

Maybe you can ask your local reseller to show more finished project documentations. They should have plenty. As you say, this is what matters at the end of the day, and tells much more than a 1-hour product demo. I firmly believe that it is also a strength of ArchiCAD - it's not just a modeling software, but has everything in it that an architect needs in the daily practice.

Does anyone have any links to recent galleries? I'm looking at switching from AutoCAD LT to either this, or chief architect. I'm just worried that A) ArchiCAD is too much... or B) Chief isn't enough..

I do my own designs which I think Chief would work fine for, however I also do Construction Documents for an architect (his office uses vectorworks) and his designs are anything but "standardized". He basically tries to come up with a dozen or so new building techniques per job, and refuses a project unless he has the chance to get into a magazine. Anyways, any help or direction would be great, thanks!

Is there a gallery somewhere that shows a construction floor plan? I'm interested to see how an ArchiCAD floor plan compares to the way my AutoCAD Floor plans look, as well as details and the annotation.

Great example fro a previous post. Gerald Hoffman posted a set of his plans.

I don't have any colour standards as such. If there are some out there I would be interested in seeing them also. I just do what I think will work and I am always trying new things and open to improving my drawings. I will share the set of drawings if you are interested and would welcome any comments or critiques. It is rather large which is why I didn't post it up but I just figured out how to give you a link where you can download the file. The download is better than the integrated Google Docs viewer. ( don't know why )
