HELP Menu activates Ineternet Explorer POP-UP BLOCKER

Each time I select ArchiCAD's HELP command it tries to open a window using Internet Explorer. The window is stopped from opening by IE's POP-UP Blocker.
I tried adding the HELP screens address (C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 9\Help\ArchiCAD\Files\index.html) to the sites that IE's POP-UP Blocker would allow but IE does not let me add a site that does not start with HTTP.
I do want to leave IE's POP-UP Blocker on so that it blocks other site's POP-UPs.
How is IE supposed to be confiquered so that ArchiCAD's HELP menu opens easily in IE without being stopped by IE's POP-UP Blocker?
THank you,
John

Right click on the message bar and select the option to allow the window to open. You will need to do this on a case by case basis but it is very straight forward. As I understand it, ArchiCAD help uses ActiveX content and that triggers the response.

How might I coax the Help System to select Firefox and not Explorer. IE doesn't seem to let me yell it that AC Help System is not going to infest my computer with worms. Firefox seems to give me the option of declaring this once and then getting on with it for evermore.

Is there any way to shut off IE's POP-UP Blocker warning for the ArchiCAD Help window and still have the POP-UP Blocker active?
Thanks,
John

You'd have to set Firefox as your default browser.. Which it should be anyway!!!!

Im not 100% sure but this might work: open IE, select Tools->Internet Options, Select the "Privacy" Tab, and click the "sites" button, then add the path to the archicad help file to your trusted sites list.

Daniel,
If I try to past the URL (C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 9\Help\ArchiCAD\Files\index.html) for ArchiCAD's Help Menu into the window to allow sites in the PRivacy tab I get an error message. The error message reads:
Invalid Domain
You have entered as invalid domain. Domains must be in the Internet zone and must use the HTTP of HTTPS protocol.

Examples of vavild domains:

-fineartschool.net

I feel that if this is a problem for all ArchiCAD users using Internet Explorer that Graphisoft should look into a solution.

Thank you,
John

Same here. Firefox is default browser, but for some reason ArchiCAD Help always opens in Internet Explorer.
