I haven't really ever found a need to model my ductwork but I can see how/why someone might want to.
Just "thinkin' out loud"...maybe CadImage's 3d profiler would be a good tool to allow you to route basic ductwork through the model....That's a thought. I'm still trying to figure out if I can make the old Profiler work or not. It's showing up in my menus, but I'm getting an error message when I try to create a profile out of a circle, which is what I think I'd need for this application, and it won't create the object. It's saving *something* to my disk, but I don't know what because nothing is showing up in my model, with an error message that says:
