Help with drawing a complex roof ( bungalow and flat roof )

Hi,

I need to construct a roof on a bungalow, that consists of 2 parts flat roof, and the rest made up of different angles.

I have made 2 stories, one being the ground floor and the other called 'Loft' ( it's a bungalow ). I have drawn on the ground floor, the external and internal walls as well as windows 2 bays ( excluding windows on the bays ) and doors.

What is the process in order to construct the roof i.e. copy and paste the external walls t the loft story etc. I've had no real experience with roof's or indeed ArchiCAD.

The two attached photos show the bungalow, but I can find more if needed.

Thank You

Sounds like you need to read the manual to understand how ArchiCAD's roof tool works or better still go through the tutorials that Graphisoft have provided http://www.graphisoft.com/products/archicad/training_guides/

There isn't anything difficult about the roofs you have shown in the photos above and I'm sure if you go through the tutorials you will be able to model them very quickly

here's my stab at it last Friday lunchtime
