Hello everyone,
I am new here - first post - but I am experiencing some issues I can't solve on my own.. When two walls (composite and complex meet, a strange line appears in the elevation between them. Both walls have the same plaster material and are perfectly aligned, but the line still shows up in the elevation and I can’t seem to remove it. Also is there a way to intersect corners at 45 degrees because the way it is now creates a whole set of problems.
I would prefer not to convert the elevation into a drawing, because when I do that some of the dimensions disappear, and I would like to keep the elevation linked to the model.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows what might be causing it?
Thank you very much! Btw I am using archicad 26.
Operating system used: Windows 26

Hi @KorniliaP
Are the reference lines on both walls aligned, or are they in the same position (Ex. outside face)?
There may be also a slight misalignment between the two walls.

Is that a Wall End?

No the are aligned. I zoom A LOT to check

No, I have used a composite wall and then a complex wall

Try using one as an operator on the other.

make sure your walls are aligned and orthogonal. even being off by 1/128" or less, .0000001º will add a line.
from your screen shot, though, it may be as simple as setting your half wall as an operator, the full walls as a target and running an SEO with no extrusion. or redefine the wall junction order, so that the walls that are || have a higher junction order than the one that is perpendicular... but that may have unintended fall-out in your floor plan appearance.

How do those walls look in plan?
I am suspecting there is a thin skin on the outside?
