Trace it with the Measure Tool (Type "M" and start clicking). This is provided that you are using Archicad especially version 11, for previous versions, Autocad, Microstation et all you'll have to ask somewhere else.

Yes...you should add your specifications to your signature. It helps everyone determine solutions for you....
You can also check the length of a pline through Window>Palettes>Element Information

Palettes > Element Information will give you that and a lot of other information about whatever you select. There is a row of buttons at the top of the palette, the one that looks like a coordinate axis toggles linear information on/off.

Best thing is to have a shortcut for turning the palette on and off, because if you leave it on all the time pretty soon you will find yourself waiting while ArchiCAD creates a list of all the elements with all their individual information you requested when you did a 'Select All'.
