How do you create a horizontal soffit

Hi guys

Is there any way in archicad to create a horizontal soffit (standard in uk) for a roof?

Yes, that's the way I do it at least. Slabs, beams, columns and walls can be used for all types of building elements.

Hello Steven,
Just wondering.
Have you tried making the entire eave soffit assembly
one complex profile ?
I made a library part to make eave soffits
way before complex profiles were available and
haven't needed to experiment with complex profiles
for this purpose.

This is the way I handle soffits, and is part of my template. Make the depth and height small, with stretch lines behind the fascia board, and it will work in many situations.

Yes I have, when the overhangs are the same. When you have different rake/eave overhangs and you try to intersect them, it does not come out well.
