Posters, or the projection screen?
If posters, archicad has a picture object
If a projection screen, it gets more complex. You need glare and light into the theatre. I have made an article in my book about this topic. To summarize it:
-make a thin wall as your projection screen.
-make a texture map the exact size of the projection screen as a material.
- in photoshop, lighten the texture map toward overexposure, simulating glare.
- apply the material to the wall and use the 3D texture alignment tool to justify the tiling.
- have a light cone light source shine straight out of the face of the screen to illuminate the seating.

Dwight forgot to mention that with the picture object you need to have the image you want displayed on the picture loaded with your libraries, then input the name (with extension) in the appropriate place in the object's parameters.
It's under Basic Library / Furnishing / Decoration.

Yes I have.
I also found an object I'd downloaded from www.Archicado.free.fr which is a simlar picture object, with a few cinema poster images. Some of them are in French (as is the object itself), but the images will work with the standard picture object too. (I have not included all images, only the relevant ones, to get the file size to an acceptable level).
Que la force soit avec toi. I think?

I'll give it shot! My french is a bit rusty but ill see how i get on. I managed to put some images on using the picture object in Archicad which are working quite well like you said. I'll give this a try anyway. Thanks
