Hello Graphisoft Team,
I’m currently working on a community center project in Archicad 27 and using sheet objects (not the Roof Tool) to cover the roof.
I have a triangular corner gap between roof sections that I would like to fill using the same sheet object as the rest of the roof.
How can I:
Place a triangular or custom-shaped sheet from the library?
Match its slope and orientation to the existing roof sheets? Ensure precise alignment in 3D and 2D?
Any suggestions or workarounds would be appreciated.
Operating system used: Windows i7-11370H

I suggest you try to use roof accessories, Roof Surfacer instead, from the goodies add-on. It will automatically produce the covering object cut according to the shape of the underlying roofs geometry and update with any changes to the roofs:

The Profiled Sheet object? Can you not use the Cutting Planes setting?
This object really needs 2D hotspots to modify these parameters... there was also a but where the pattern moved when you stretched it, but that appears to have been fixed at some point.
