The roof tool in ArchiCAD allows creation of a dom, but that one can not split the dom in the middle and stretch both ends to create the structure above.

a simple way would be to combine two quarter domes and a quarter shell
'dome' and 'shell' both in the 'basic shapes' folder of the standard library

Profiler could do that, by extruding a semi-circle along a path, and making an object out of the awning.

Objects Online has some Awnings for sale that I believe Oleg Shmidt made. They have different bottom edge treatments as well. Quite good I think.
