How to draw Exterior Trim on wall connections

Hello Forum,

I have what seems like it should be a relatively simple modeling question. What is the best tool to use for drawing exterior trim? Specifically the vertical trim at exterior wall connections. The Column tool? Or is there a better way?

I have used the slab tool and pulled it up to the right height. The morph tool might be good for this. Then just copy it around and adjust height.
