How to get hard edges in pdf export

All the edges are rounded and look like a cartoon, is there a way of making them squared?

What edges are you talking about?
Can you post a screen shot?
If you mean the ends of lines then unfortunately that is the way Archicad works and there is nothing that can be done about it.
The thicker the line the worse it looks.

Your only option is to use walls of the required line width instead of actual lines.
Make the walls are zero height so they will not be seen in elevations.
But this doesn't hep if you want to draw the line in elevation or section.
