How to make Walls and Beams dashed in Section/Elevation?

Any idea how can i make Walls and Beams show with dashed lines in Sections and Elevations?

I have always thought it was possible!

I've always used James' technique.

This means a lot of work for me! I cannot use any ot the two methods because I have many overlapping items.
We need to be able to assign whatever linetype we want either in 2D or 3D! I will make a poll for it!

if you unlink, you can.

For 3D, place on Wireframe layer. Works better than hidden/dashes lines.

Unlink should be removed!!!! Overrides! Override manager!
