How do I make a tapered shape object say a table leg ? I tried using the complex profile but it.s only showing tapered on one side but I need to 2-sided [south and east] tapered shape table leg.

If you're doing this more than once (or other furniture detailing), you might want to take a look at OBJECTiVE. You can make your tapered table leg by simply cutting up a (virtual) piece of timber. Referring to the attached image:
  • 1. Place a length of timber and view it in elevation. Click the menu OBJECTiVE > Tools > Split, and trace the line where you want to cut the tapered edge.

    2. Click on the side of the cut to be removed, and the object is split in 2 along the cut line. You can delete the offcut.

    3. Repeat the same on the other elevation (or rotate the leg about 90 degrees) and you have your completed table leg.
