I can`t see cover fills

Hello can somebody please tell me if there is an overall option to show or hide the fills in the 2D window? All my construction elements like slabs and walls are shown transparent in the 2D view window even when i choose the fills in the floor plan display option
What is weird is that when copy and paste the same elements in another new file their fills appear correctly.

Hmmm I`v just figured out what was the problem: The show trace reference option seems to affect the diplay of the fills in the active window. When i switched the trace off, they reapeared
