I cannot select individual walls

I just moved from archicad 22 to archicad 23 and whenever I try selecting one wall after drawing a rectangle, it selects them all and I can't fix this. I just want to select one wall but it just selects all of them. Please can anyone help me out?

Modelling walls with the rectangle option will automatically group them together.
You just need to suspend groups to pick them individually.
Or you can un-group them if you want to make them individual permanently.
