Individual door settings in Archicad 28

It must be a bug or..?

In ArchiCAD 28, I can no longer "override" a single door and make one door more detailed than, for example, all other doors?

This is a function I have used repeatedly over time. It seems that detailing is now exclusively controlled via MVO and cannot be done specifically for a single door ?

I think that's a huge drawback if that's the case?

Does anyone have suggestions for another way to solve it?

Hi @prebennoer,

Starting with Archicad 28 Library Update 2, the Global Library will once again include the MVO Detail Level override.

Library Update 2 will be released together with Archicad 28 Update 1 on 11th March 2025.

Later, Library Update 3 will also include MVO related improvement.

Best regards,

SInce archicad 28 , all settings related to MVO are moved to MVO panel, you cannot control individual elements MVO

The problem is that, not all settings have been added to the MVO panel, and so there are some settings that you cannot use in the AC28...

This is unfortunately a huge step backwards from previous versions.

The intention is not necessarily bad, but the implementation was not good.

Thank you for the response! If that's true, it's really a huge setback for ArchiCAD 😳

As a long, long-time ArchiCAD user, it's a feature I've always used.

Why has it been removed?

Are there any alternatives?
