how do you show installing windows and doors and covering up the gap left by archicad, if window is not installed as defaulted by program, but closer to interior?

The CADImage Wall Accessory Tool can add in the type of brick return you are talking about. It's been a while since I've used it, but I seem to remember it working pretty well.
