Is saving as *.2DL still available?

Hi,
i run on version 9, coming across a frustrating problem with saving out as .2dl file.

in previous versions of archiad, within the 3d window, you could "save as" *.2dl. this creates a new file with the extension .2dl, which turns all the materials and especially the shadows into fills. which you can then open and edit in floor plan.

if someone knows, could you please tell me whether this is available anymore? it seems like it is, because when you go open, it is available to open. if so, how is it done? are there any special proccesses to make *.2dl file extension available when you go "save as" in the 3d window?

thanks.
