Layout Updating

Hello,
I would like to have specific views of my project into layout pages without them being updated through the process (so to keep a history record of the design process). What is the best way to go about it.

Try Drawing manager , and select them and click on unlink " broken chain "
you can accsess Drawing Manager from file > external content

Or you could just publish PDF's at set stages. That means you continue to have one single live layout book, with a PDF for archiving and future reference/printing.
