The "local origin" parameter in the "Grids & Background" window can't be changed, it doesn't match the origin in the actual 3D space nor the 2D views. I tried reseting the user origin in the 3D space and it changes the origin but this doesn't propagate to the "local origin" parameter in the "Grids & Background" window. As a result when I export to TWINMOTION using the Datasmith it places the model too far away from the origin.
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sonoma 14.6.1

Try changing the local origin coordinates in a plan view instead of the 3d view.
You can also check if Survey Point tool could help you.

Hi @Ricardo Lopez, thanks for your reply, we tried changing the local origin in every other 2D view, reseting the survey point to 0,0, to make everything match the project origin, we even played around with the GPS coordinates and we actually found more inconsistencies, when the rotated grid is set to 0,0 it is still displaced by a random distance in relation to 0,0, I've attached a screenrecording and the file on the following dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/t/3pZ5lE6k4CkwWNyJ

@Ricardo Lopez and @Barry Kelly I believe the above issue shown in the video deserves a new topic on its own, it seems that the rotated 2D grid line can show random inconsistencies in its origin, I was able to expirence this problem on 2 very different machines, an apple laptop and a custom windows workstation, My theory is that the Survey point coordinates changes do not propagate adecuatley throughout the system. Should a new topic be created?

If you think it is a different issue, then sure start a new topic.
I don't use Twinmotion so I am not sure of the issue/s or a solution.
Barry.
