Hello there,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

This behavior is connected to an already known problem, which is registered under DEF-26294. It is a collective issue that affects the hotlinked MEP elements in multiple ways unfortunately, including the mentioned diameter change. The core of the problem is that the Table of Dimensions is lost when hotlinking, even though the source and target files are the same.

I linked your report to the existing DEF ticket in our system to help raise its priority. Hopefully, Product Management will consider fixing the root cause in a future Archicad version.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Kornél
