Making custom fills

I draw and shape that I wanted to use for a cut fill.
Its a patern that I want to use in 15 cm thick slab.
What I did is, I draw it in scale so that it has an depth of 15 cm and an lenght of 55.
The problem is that the fill doesnt show right in the model section...its somehow moved 5 cm up so the bottom is not alinged how it should be.
How can I control this?

Under the fill properties click the

link to fill origin

Then you can move the fill from within its boarder
