Mesh Intersection With other elements

Not applicable
How exactly do I get the mesh to intersect correctly and automatically with me slab? I tried Merge Element but it did nothing. I defined the priority of the building material of my mesh correctly...

Hi Alex

Meshes do not take part of the Priority Based Connections. So you actually have to connect the Mesh to the slab manually (right-click / Connect ...) and using the Solid Element Operations Panel.

Typically you will make the slab "dig" into the Mesh by Subtracting with upward Extrusion.

Check it here

Hope it helps

Then why can it be assigned a "building material"? Shouldn't it be called a surface instead?

It's just that I want to create some 3D visualizations, therefore I need to add drive ways, paths and other little things, and for each one of them, because they're supposed to be burred in the ground, I have to perform SEO.

Anyways thanks.
